Review from The Wire

Glaswegian Welch has a long disruptive career in both the visual and sonic arts. This new tape explores two of his sonic profiles. One side is an extended piece of extended technique percussion, recorded in an Italian synagogue, and bearing little resemblance to what most people might imagine as a drum solo. The flip, recorded in a sauna, has a couple pieces of fantastic mouth-babble that careen between glossolalia and sound poetry like twin donkeys. Majestic!
