Review from The Wire

“The second release from the duo of Joe Murray (Posset et al) and Jon Marshall (Hunter Gracchus, Roman Nose et al). Their first missive was on Chocolate Monk, and this rotten apple hasn’t fallen far from that diseased tree. There’s not much a mother could love here, from voices garbled and mutilated beyond the imperative to communicate by tape speed and other interventions to tangles of caveman guitar, buzzing reeds and in the red fidelity. The compositional style is by turns cartoonish and grotesque, with brutal interjections laced with low level nocturnal activity scattered through the underbrush.”
